How to eat for free…*YMMV

I have discovered something that I feel is pretty interesting….EATING FREE!!
(Please note that the following paragraphs are only a “what someone could possibly do to eat free” and not something that I myself have or ever will actually try)
While traveling from eatery to eatery in the greater Norfolk area it has occurred to me how little attention these eateries pay to giving out food to customers. Panera Bread is a perfect example. “Magnus your order is ready….Magnus your order is ready”. Then some schmo’ goes walkin up to pick up a free lunch courtesy of Magnus, and Panera Bread workers are non the dumber for it. They only realize there may be a slight issue (if they care @ all) when the real Magnus goes up to pick up his order only to realize that fake Magnus already took it. Or even better, Magnus and customer B got the same thing and Magnus is standing there @ the pickup line when customer B’s name gets called and Magnus takes customer B’s item cause he thinks its his. SOOOO now customer B is without a meal. CRISIS!!!!!! or not….because Panera Bread could care less. They’re too busy to care about food theivery and figure its just easier to make customer B’s meal again.
It doesn’t seem to ever occur to them that maybe some random dude came in dressed nice and just took a meal.
Granted they do have the “buzzer system” (which everytime i get one of those reminds me of old school laser tag)
I’ll take a note from the Hardee’s Handbook:
*Give out numbers to people for each order and then bring them their food as its ready
Sounds simple doesnt it? Yeah….BECAUSE IT IS!
Sure you may have to hire 1 extra person to be a “meal carrier”
